An eight point bonus to brawl? Does it cap at fifteen as well? Since with such a big bonus, it would seem pointless to increase Brawl, unless you meant a bonus to the Unarmed skill, which makes me wonder if that one has a cap also.

Also, do you have any opinion on Gangrel being the only clan that can get a level five Discipline for free?

If I remember correctly the feat is upgraded, not the skill, to avoid the cap.

What do you mean by this?

When you play a Gangrel, you can get the fifth level Animalism discipline for free when you talk to Beckett. No other clan has such an "expensive" gift. That's not mentioning that he gives clanmates the second level of Protean when you first meet him. I know that the Gangrel would be fine even without this bonus, but I'm wondering if you have any opinnion on this matter and your thoughts on the other clans not having such an opportunity.

Looking at the dlg file Beckett should bump either animalism or protean or fortitude but only if they are below 3.

I was under the impression that there were two instances of the skill increase. He gives you up to Protean 2 after the warehouse and can give you either (a maximum of) Fortitude 3 OR Animalism 5 somewhere near (or after) the Italian Dinner mission.

No. The first one is an old rumour only. You can ask him about Protean after the warehouse but he will not upgrade it. The second time he will only raise disciplines that are below 3.

I see. Thanks for clearing that up.
