Construction Set Objects.

I was wondering: can you combine objects in the morrowind construction set? I mean selecting and then merging two or more items, similar to programs like Microsoft Word, such that the new, combined item, can be manipulated as one.

I know that you can group select items, and then move them around together, as if they were one object. But otherwise, I don't know.

Merging requires creating a new item with a new ID.
