Shipwrecks *spoilers wanted*

Post by Tybaltus »

Well Ive been in a lot of shipwrecks. I havent found anything really useful in any shipwrecks. The best item I found was a daedric weapon of some sort.

What I want to know is: Are there any real useful items in any shipwreck, if so, where do I find the shipwreck?

I mean, shipwrecks are a very cool addition to the game-it adds something to the searching aspect of the game. They are also cool to look at-I mean I have always been interested in shipwrecks. But it would be good to know that there is atleast ONE useful shipwreck in the game.

I got daedric wakazashi once between Mzahnch and Bal Fel south of Suran. That's all, though, plenty of Moon Sugar and Skooma, no cool items.

I found that one too, at Vas, I think. I was most disappointed after my efforts at exploring.

Made for a good night's sleep though

The pillows are recovered as part of a miscellaneous quest :)
There's also a shipwreck that yields a number of diamonds for all you alchemists out there :)

One of the shipwrecks has a bunch of ash statues in a crate - I think I found it south of Hla Oad. It's a nice tie-in to the main plot, IMO.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

I remember that ship that youre talking about, Sojourner. At the time I found that ship, I had no idea what ash statues were and I didnt know about the sixth house. I was level 2 or 3 after all, when I found it.

Pillows

If anyone remembers an early faction quest to kill rats in Blamora(Fighter, I think), then the pillows might be of some value to one of the parties involved.

Other than that, I believe the loot in shipwrecks is all either low lvl or lvl generated. I've found a lot of grand soul gems in barrels in my high level shipwreck exploration.

I seem to have mislaid the main plot. I still have no idea what the ash staues are for. Could somebody explain.

Well you dont really need to know to do the plot. I wasnt sure what they were for a while, either, but they are basically really just idols/statues that are produced and sacred (?) to the dagoth people. Thats about it.

STUCK IN SHIPWRECK - world disappeared

I'm stuck in the hold of a shipwreck. Used the TCL command to get out but when I toggled the TCL command to get the world solid again, the world disappeared and all I see is the shipwreck......how do I get the world back?

There are a couple of things you might try:

1) Instead of using TCL, try fixme.

2) Try coc Balmora.
