Should I sell Carsomyr?
xD I bet all of you probably think I'm insane right now, but I waited until after I left the Underdark to kill Firkraag, and since my PC isn't a paladin, I don't have and probably will never need Keldorn, and I have no thieves (except for Imoen but she'll never get UAI anyway), there would be no point in keeping it. xP Not sure how much it sells though.

Good advice. Money isn't easy to come by in BG2, not when you have your eye on some expensive toys. Of course, you can always avoid purchases altogether, or try stealing what you want, but if you follow an "I won't reload if I fail a theft" policy, then you'll probably avoid that route unless you have Master Thief potions.willsanders84 wrote:Do what I do; stash everything in Cernd's former home next to the Adventurer's Mart - It's the only thing Cernd's good for, the use of his house. To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
And if You have Trone of Bhaal, stash everything in watcher's keep 'tis the only place that is accessable from both SOA and TOB, at almost every stage of the game (excluding the very, very end)willsanders84 wrote:Do what I do; stash everything in Cernd's former home next to the Adventurer's Mart - It's the only thing Cernd's good for, the use of his house. If you're out of the underdark, that means Riblad has his 'special items' now. So if you need money badly, and decide to sell some items, go to him, ask him to show them to you (he'll want you to pay 50 gp) and sell those items in ribald's special stock window. You'll get much more money that way than selling them in his regular shop. I've discovered that when I wanted to sell Carsomyr with my almost-all-mage party and didn't want to dump the holy relic of justice just anywhere.
Who said roleplaying doesn't pay?
p.s. It's not worth bothering with gems and scrolls, but for all those plate armours and weapons works wonders.
