Hi.
I've decided to play through all four of the Baldur games, and so started a new game with the Baldursgate and Tales of the swordcoast (which i havent played before. But just after leaving Candlekeep the game had some kind og fault and the autosave and quick save function didnt work. I kept playing and could still save normally. I've now finished Baldur and was sent to Ulgoth's Beard through a mission-save pack. The problem now is that I dont have my normal party, I have lost half my equipment, and most of the gold I had (would really like to have that back).
So is there anyway i can go back, fix the save all together and get my party throug. Or can i somehow "cheat" just after the final fight with sarevok and then import my party to Ulgoth's Beard?
Or is there some way i can just import my previous party into ulgoth's beard without fixing any of the saves?
Anyone?

Umm.. I'm not realy experienced with BG1, for it crashed on me far too many times to bother, and i don't even know where are the save files in BG1, but..
There is a way to bring back your party to what it once was using Gatekeeper editor.link
It allows you to add all the items, gold and stuff that you lost. Probably you can also edit levels and names with that, and as for portrait you can do that in-game.
I'm not sure about classes and NPCs. Its maybe not the best way to do this, but if noone more experienced helps you, then there you have at least one way to solve the problem.
However, there may be an EASIER solution. PATCH the game, Load a save that works (hopefully it's not too long before Sarevok fight) and see if it's fixed
Official ones can be found here BioWare: BG: Tales of the Sword Coast Patches

Well in THEORY after defeating Sarevok you SHOULD be teleported to the expansions village.

Thanx
Thank you for the tip, i'll try it. Hopefully it'll work.
I had finished everything in BG1 and did the fight as well...
I wasn't teleported straight away. BG1 just ended as if i hadn't installed TSC and then I had to load the mission save pack which appeared automatically, but it had a new party. I'm okay with the party how ever, just not the items and gold.
So will give thing a try here and see how it goes.
Thanks angain.
