If a party member of mine was killed (without exploding, his corpse is still there whenever I check on it) and I removed him from the party, is there a way to resurrect him? Temples don't seem to provide that option, and Raise Dead scrolls can't be used on the body...

A question about dead NPCs
Hello, all!
New player here (in the middle of the first game with the BGT mod installed), and I have a question that may seem a bit odd:
If a party member of mine was killed (without exploding, his corpse is still there whenever I check on it) and I removed him from the party, is there a way to resurrect him? Temples don't seem to provide that option, and Raise Dead scrolls can't be used on the body...

Unfortunately no, once you remove a dead companion from your party, there is no legal way to resurrect him or her.

Pity. At first it actually fit within the RP - my PC has assembled an all-female team, but when she couldn't ditch Khalid she stole his weapon and tricked him into charging a bunch of Gnolls alone. But I hadn't stopped to consider BG2 continuity...Crenshinibon wrote:Unfortunately no, once you remove a dead companion from your party, there is no legal way to resurrect him or her.
Just out of curiosity, is there an "illegal" way to resurrect him?

Off the top of my head, you can use the cheat console to conjure him up and add him to your party.
Alternatively, what you could have done was have Khalid go inside a house alone, and then remove him from your party there.
