I've no doubt that's a link to a very funny video. But you can watch tuns of hilarious bad losing on Youtube, it even has it's own category, just type in the keywords 'Rage Quit' or 'Rage Quitting'.

It's a standard gaming emotion which a lot of developers understand and even make an effort to implement in a game because a nightmare challenge section is what some gamers demand.

I normally rage when the game's AI gets deliberately ridiculous and fixed, for example in Civilisation games when enemy AI players complete Great Wonders exactly one turn before you complete yours, or, in RPGs when when you get zero critical hits until the monster only has 1 hit point left and then you get a 100 hit point damage critical hit. The examples are really endless and cover most genres.

my most extreme Rage Quit involved immediately ejecting the game CD, snapping it in half, swearing my ass off for a good 10 minutes and generally punching and kicking various soft furnishings. But, like all things, this moment of extreme was a one-off and helped me become a more relaxed gamer. A bit like gaining experience points in an RPG game!

Let me get this straight, if I lose a game, I would just say "good game", and that's it, but I lack of sportsmanship, so every time I lose the game I get a little bit of tension depending how severe it is.

Now what I see in the video is that the guy playing mmo and he lost which he smacked the other kid who is next to him in the face with a keyboard. Now that is unsportsmanshiplike conduct. And he should get into a lot of trouble for assaulting.

Let me look at on YouTube to see how the guy get freaked out and smacked the kid right in the face.

EDIT: Nope, not on YouTube, unless you guys want to give us a full video of "Mad about losing a game".

The video itself is most likely a fake - as in staging and act.

No, it's not fake, I saw it on the video, and it's real of what happens on that video.

Some reasons why it is most likely fake:

1. They are perfectly framed.
2. The keyboard doesn't snag as the cord attaching it to the computer extends.
3. There is no sound of pain from the falling gamer.
4. If you pause it the keyboard has passed the gamers face before the gamer's face has turned to the left.
5. The sound of the keyboard hitting is a good half a second after the hit.
6. Even the laughing itself is fake and put on.

Some of these might be explainable but all together it definitely seems like a put-up job.

But makes for a good discussion top! :)

Lets just say, my wife banned me from getting anymore cordless mice. I also use a keyboard that is easy to reassemble.

Strangely, I only ever feel rage while gaming on my desktop PC, never my laptop... must be sitting in a desk chair brings out all my suppressed work rage, or I don't play the games that piss me off on my laptop!

Huh, I agree, that's a fake one. The victim seems to be artificially happy. And yeah, no sound of pain from the falling gamer. ;)

Anyway, answering the question... I feel so angry! Actually I have the same feeling to break something. But I try to stay cool
