SoU bug?

Post by sirgalahad1313 »

I'm replaying nwn for the 1st time in a very long time, and had started SoU when i came across something i don't remember ever happening before. I did various forum searches but came up blank. I was fighting a little kobold boss just before encountering the dragon tymofarrar, when my henchwoman Dorna died just as i was trying to lay hands on her and her body disapeared (playing a paladin obviously). I decided that since it didn't appear that there would be any more fights to just finish this part, get the new quest from the dragon and go grab dorna. Problem is, she won't even speak to me now as though she wasn't even there. Oddest thing i've ever seen.

So basically has anyone ever had that happen to them and if so how did you fix it? thanks

Henchmen are very buggy as a rule, there's tons of stuff that can happen to them. I remember at least once a henchman going hostile - not because of anything I did or said (they are not that well-developed characters), but because they fell in battle and it took me a long time to go back to them and fix it.

In chapter 1 SoU, I believe the henchmen have the ability to teleport back to Drogan when they fall (since, plot-wise, they have Mystra's Hands), but I must say I've never had problems with speaking to them once I found them there. Still, the feature is very buggy and quite unpredictable.
