Reinstalling Morrowind

Post by Coot »

I've played Oblivion and Skyrim and although I really enjoyed Skyrim, I still appreciate Morrowind the most. The main quest, the environment, the Dunmer culture and religion are, at least in my mind, much more immersive and intelligent than the human, medieval style wordls of Oblivion and Skyrim.
Also, I feel that, although there have been many good Oblivion and great Skyrim mods, Morrowind modders have been, in general, even more creative and passionate. I had a bunch of mods installed at the time: Real Signposts, Better Bodies, Havish, Balmora Expanded, Mournhold Expanded, that improved combat system (I can't remember the name) were you could slow down time, many clothing and race mods, and so on.

Of course, Morrowind is an older game now. But lately I came across some video's on YouTube and these Morrowind versions looked so good that they made me think of revisiting Morrowind (and Solstheim and Mournhold).

My laptop was able to handle the Skyrim requirements OK. Wich mods, especially newer ones, would you recommend?

MSGO, IIRC. It makes Morrowind look really good, especially combined with the prettier face/Better Bodies mod.
