Perhaps, since you can only be saved by accepting the lord, a little inquisition does more good than harm?

Well over the century communism has killed alot of people, but I have to say that having a communist government in Chine the contry has greatly benefited. Communism is not the best form of goverment and economical structure mainly because you can't get rich. The 20th Century has been called the bloodiest century in human history, and for good reason. No one can ever be sure of the exact figures, but historians have estimated 40 million people died because of the Stalinist purges, 60 million under Mao Tse Tung's rise and consolidation of power in China, and 2 million under Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia. That's over 100 million, folks, and these are just three examples.

There was a little bit written up about a cartoon in which a hero defeats villains by quoting the Bible. For some reason I believe you have been watching this show.
BTW the show is for preteens.
@Weasel: You forgot fusbol in the list of evil things.
"Fusbol is the devil"

Seriosusly M&M why do start these religious topics. Your just asking to be flamed by everybody. Pride and selfishness can't be the root of evil. I have a lot of pride in myself yet nothing negative really comes from it. Tell you what: I'll denounce all religions so I won't suffer from the consequences of being greedy and prideful.
I'm quite surprised that no idiotic religious group has objected to Black and White. In that game you are god. What about Harry Potter. Schools proclaim it is evil and tells the youth(and some adults also) about black magic and witches. I guess allowing kids to read violent gruesome horror books are better that letting kids to read about wizards and magic.
Question: Has anybody read Bill Bryson's "Notes from a Big Country"
Final statement: Why don't we become Puritans and do nothing fun.
Is this a quote from the Malleus MaleficarumOriginally posted by EMINEM:
The Biblical worldview cannot cannot cannot cannot cannot lend itself to an amoral interpretation of human behavior.

I hate to break your illusions, but being atheist does not necessarily equal amoral.Originally posted by EMINEM:
Anyway, the point I'm trying to make is that Communist/Atheistic worldviews, taken to their logical conclusions, can justify the worst of atrocities committed in the name of so-called progress. You can exterminate an entire race of people and the act of doing so will not contradict the basic premises of that philosphy.
@Eminem, the problem with that argument is the interpretation of the word "amoral." There are many people who would suggest that efforts on the part of various Christian organizations to resist (with all their money and power) the spread of contraceptives, or the use of medically endosed abortions under any circumstances, constitutes immoral behavior.Originally posted by EMINEM:

On the other hand, someone who holds to a Biblical worldview (ie. calls himself a Christian) and "does" commit these kinds of crimes, cannot say "Christ would agree with what I'm doing," without being condemned as a sincerely misguided fool by posterity. The Biblical worldview cannot cannot cannot cannot cannot lend itself to an amoral interpretation of human behavior.
