Is it useable only by the paladin? If it is not, what is the best two handed for a kensai/mage (two handed prof.)?
The lilacor?
Carsomyr
Polysome,
Carosmyr is only usable by Paladins in SoA. Lilicor is a fine weapon (due to confered immunities), says some pretty funny stuff and only really has the draw back of being +3 and not doing any elemental (etc) damage. The sword of chaos is worth getting and keeping because of the +1 healing it does, but it alas is only +2. The only easily obtainable +4 two handed weapon is the Staff on Rhynn(sp) (+4) which you can buy from Ribald. Most other better two handed weapons are only obtainable in the later stages of the game. - Curdis

You buy it from Ribald (After you have been to the underdark) which can be very late in the game. - Curdis

note: a lot of people say soul reaver is a better blade, and the silver sword is a top priority if you have tob installed.
greater whirlwind and vorpal effects is incredible to behold.
soul reaver, like holy avenger, has a way of penetrating defenses, like avengers dispell magic. the thalco reducing effects of soul reaver can punch thru protections, and this is the blade for hitting creatures with a vicious hand to hand attack.
avenger is for killing mages, goes thru most defenses a mage has, expcially upgraded, will go thru absolute immunity, but there are so many ways to punch thru mage protections, its really only good for the 5-% resist to magic.
aslternative is viccy with various armor and amultes can get 100% resist to magic, or if you don't want a paladin, and I sure don't! Kelddy is too overrated as a fighter.
Is to have jan jansen in the party and with tob eventually he will be high enough in level to use it backstabbing. be sure he has a major str belt!
at least one forum member who plays chavalier or paladin kit has said this was a not good idea...the idea of that diminutive wittle gnome wielding th holy of holies, made me want to try for sure!
