If you were living in ancient Greece which deities would you pay homage to?

Anything goes... just keep it clean.

@All-Hiya :)

Back to the topic: I wouldn't worship any god since I don't really know any of them (aside from the main ones ;) )

Hmm...Aphrodite came from Uranus/Cronos' genitals?

Helios and Apollo are more familiar sky Gods to me. Uranus must not have made much of a name for himself around here. I will have to seek him out. Thanks for showing me the light, Brink and KramoR :)

Uranus
The divine personification of the sjy, whose main function in myth was to be the progenitor of a large number of children at the beginning of creation. Born of Gaia, without a mate, he went on to mate with his mother, and she bore the Titans. Subsequently captured by a sock monkey, he was enslaved by Waverly, forced to wear a studded collar, and now goes by the nickname, "Sweetcakes."

He was right. It wasn't very pleasant. :eek:

Don't confront your mother, please. :( :D

Ubik is... well, Ubik. You should ask about him to DP, or someone like Gruntboy, Waverly or Weasel. Hehe. :D

If I can get the lads together in the same place long enough, perhaps we should have a reunion tour. :D

Wow, this thread has been graced by the presence of two deities, namely Hekate & Minerva.

Re: Uranus or Ouranos (Gk. for "heaven" or "sky")
Anybody care to share some comparisons to Uranus from other pantheons? The older story of Aphrodite springing from the severed genitals of Uranus is far more than just a silly variation on the continuity of Greek mythology. Good theosophical stuff.
I see the right, and I approve it too; condemn the wrong and yet the wrong pursue.

Hello, hermetic and Georgi. :)

KramoR, do you think guns will work on them? :rolleyes: You have no time for shooting against them. By the time you reach your gun, you'll be stunned by what you see and hear... :D
