I'm not sure I can help you against vampires... you see I kinda like them... Especially if they look like a certain mister Pitt...

The eyes, the package... whatever Image

Fact is that right after we watch a Pitt film, we have to watch one with my favorites (C.Z. Jones, Salma Hayek, Liz Hurley etc.) to balance things...

Damn, he is propably the best actor of his generation and all women can see are his looks Image Image Image

Ubik: His acting skills are part of the package... (He takes a lot of parts where he doesn't need his looks, I loved his accent in Devil's own...)

What kind of movies do you want to watch hon...?

Not any particular kind... I am hoocked in intelligent films. Of the recent (2000-2001) filmography I enjoyed "the Snatch" (starring the above mentioned) and "Unbreakable". The rest was - IMHO - crap. Including "Crounching tiger-hidden dragon" all the critics loved so much.
Some of my favorite all time films:

12 Monkeys (with your Brad Pitt)
Truman show
Brazil
Kagemusha
Clockwork orange
Dr Strangelove
Blade Runner
The Shining
Fight Club (again Brad Pitt)
all the Monty Python's films (especially Life of Brian)

and a lot more. how about you?

Ubik: I heard "Unbreakable" was a real disappointment... Have to wait a bit for "The Snatch" But heard all kinds of good things about it... It's been a while since I saw good new movie... "Dogma" made me laugh a lot but it's not a really good movie...

Really good films?

The Game
12 Monkeys
the sixth sence
Life of Brian
the Tomas Crown Affair

Why can't I come up with any others with a good story? I'll get back to you when my brain starts functioning again Image

As mentioned before I liked Interview with a Vampire, if you've read the books it gets even better.

EDIT:

Silence of the lambs... loved it. (especially Antony Hopkins)

Well, Unbreakable is not a masterpiece, but it stands out - in my case - from the crap they served us this year. And "the Snatch"... hhhmm... if you have watched "Lock stock and two smoking barrels" and you liked it (I did) you 're gonna love this one. And being a Brad Pitt fan... he is a fantastic Pikey Image Image Image you shall LYAO just listening to him Image

Ubik: Sounds good. My best friend is a worse Pitt-fan than I am and she's been talking about it for quite some time... But I agree that the rest of this year sofar has been crap. As I said, I'll probably won't see Unbreakable for a while, think I'll have to wait till it's on video.

@Ubik & Chrissy,

You are talking about movies and you are leaving a couple of really good ones out.

IMO there are two types of movies. On the one hand you have the entertaining movies. These type of movies are entertaining, but they offer nothing truly special.

Example of these would be:
Gone in sixty seconds
Bone collector
Hannibal
Gladiator
X-men

On the other hand you have the great movies. These are entertaining, but they have a little bit of extra:
Pulp Fiction
Fight Club
Life of Brian
Search for the holy Grail
The Game
Sixth sense
Forrest Gump

@Chrissy, Unbreakable is a nice movie, but it is certainly not a movie that necessarily needs to be seen in the theatre. It will do just fine on a vcr.

Consultancy in the service field. The area that I am most interested is customer and employee satisfaction. They have a huge project running on the internet, but it is in Dutch. I have made sure that the interview is not in daylight. Image Image

Current Crisis: Trying to prove to a small mongolian tribe that I'm not actually GOD.
Favourite Movie: Mel Brook's History of The World.
Occupation: Full Time Student of Information Systems / Psychology.

That's about it... for now... Feel like I've just signed up for some sorta online computer dating service...

Cartoon Law III
Any body passing through solid matter will leave a perforation conforming to its perimeter. Also called the silhouette of passage, this phenomenon is the speciality of victims of directed-pressure explosions and of reckless cowards who are so eager to escape that they exit directly through the wall of a house, leaving a cookie-cutout-perfect hole. The threat of skunks or matrimony often catalyzes this reaction.

The one going around my arm is of two vines (picture the stems of roses that have been dried) that are woven around each other.

The one on my shoulder is of a Tarot Card from the Dragon's Tarot called the three of swords...it's a cracked heart that is bleeding with three swords sticking in it, and a green dragon behind it.
