*several minutes later, a strange liquid starts to seep out from under the door of the room*
*a few minutes later, door bursts open and a 5' tall wave of red wine comes pouring out of the room, semi-flooding the tavern*
*steps out of the room drenched in champagne* Okay...that didn't quite work out the way I expected.

I just flew all the way from Romulus and boy, are my arms tired.
Ba-dat Tsh!
BS,
I've missed so much. Was too deeply wrapped up in Halo and ToB this weekend to post.
Anyway, according to Gwally, I been blowing stuff up with the still in back. I thought I was on Romulus, or was it Halo? What's up the Be stuff. (beryllium) con-fuzed
The good news: SS will be happy as I've negotiated a deal with the romulan that will keep us in stock of romulan ale for a long time. turns out they loved my shine and we're going to swap. I couldn't carry much ale back with me (ok, so I drank most of it; what would you do) so the romulan should be paying us a visit within a week. They'll be showing up in a bird of prey or a warbird or whatever it's called they're flying now. Too much espionage with the Klingon empire is prohibiting me from remembering the name of their current traveling vessel.
You will also be happy to know that I've employed the help of several grizzly bears to assist with the development and maitenance of the still. Turns out those critters are real bright. Now, they won't eat BS nor myself but the rest of you are fair game so behave yourselves. sorry, but the bears are necessary for they will continue to provide us with grain alcohol which leads to big smiles and loose women.
On a final note, the tavern could use a brewmaster and an attorney (where's mcbane, I love those green and blue pills). I'm glad you got the tavern rolling BS, it's too bad I missed the grand opening. It's worth it though in the pursuit for romulan ale.
Does SS mix her ale with Dr. Pepper??

hands Rob his ONE beer....amatuers
Looks at Ned to make sure he is properly dressed this time, nods and replaces basebal bat behind bar.
Ned! glad to see you have arrived. I am not sure where McBane is, but that one croc in the corner of the pit looks a little fatter hope he didn't fall in.
of COURSE you had to consume all that ale. We do not intend to serve inadaquate drinks, so someone has to test them
And jusdging by the mess SS caused last night, she seems to be willing to mix about anything.

Nippy looks with suspicion at Ned, he notices he is carrying beer and other drinks and lets him through...
I've come to know the crocs, they are nice people! You got Angie, Dave, Hannibal , and Princess. Now, let me go sort out the bears!
Nippy goes in the back and a roar is heard. The bear comes out headlong through the door and Nippy walks through the bear shaped hole wiping his hands.
"Now, you fellas behave! My crocs are nice, and you will be too!"

Glances a Nippy....i knew there was a reason I hired him
Considers the bear shaped hole, the burntout back room, and the drenched floor.....well, no one can say we don't throw a good party around here
@Ned. I find your choice of house band acceptable, but tell them not to frighten the bears, as you stated, they are necessary for big smiles and loose women, and loose women are of number one importance in this establishment.

Would you consider hiring Aegis? He's got more experience with bears, he's Canadian for Chrissakes!
We could setup our own security company:
Nip & Sage Security Co.

*Suddeny appears in a birlliant flash of smoke at the mention of his name. He is already deckd out in his Brilliant Red Toga of Protection, and his dual fish on his hips. His arms are crossed, and in one hand he is holding chain. As BS's eyes follow the chain, they slowly widen as he spots a great Grizzly bear sitting down, and cracking open a guiness at the counter...*

I thought Aegis might want to be brewmaster since he's always pining about guiness (great taste, mind you) from forum to forum. He could occasionally come with his own brews and tantalize us with descriptions. Example:
Olde Jack Strong Ale
Olde Jack strong ale is indeed strong (7.2% alc./vol). It is also smooth, with a spicy, malty aftersplash that fits comfortably into the pleasantly tempered caramel taste. There is a flavorful, somewhat buttery or butterscotch character at mid bottle. A rising alcohol presence ushers the butterscotch blend to a soothing, flavorful finish. The delicious spicy hop mouth feel at last sip is caressed by a touch of malt. Olde Jack is a compelling ale indeed.
Aegis, do you recognize that? Just curious.
Got a fresh batch coming off the still. Damn, those bears are good.
If anyone misbehaves, can we just feed them to the snappers. It's great fun having live crocs around.
one more thing we need a:
free beer......tomorrow
