I had to start a new game because my character became stuck in the fighting pit of the Copper Corenet. After I killed the buttmunch, I never got the fade out screen that moved me outside again. Anyone else have this problem? I restarted because this game I'm fiddling with shadowkeeper and some of those 'fixit' downloads from the Baldurdash site.
I'm wondering if I don't mess up the game in other area's as well with my fiddling or is this just an insolated incedent?
Bug in the Copper Corenet?
I've had that happen to me too. There are two things I can think of to avoid that problem. Either don't pick a fight, because really, the experience you get from it isn't worth it, or activate the cheat keys, move your pointer to a place outside the pit where you'd rather your character was, and press CTRL+J. That should teleport your character out of the pit.

For what it's worth, I've found that the Infinity engine in general can "stick" when the game is set to pause at the end of a turn. This happened to me on two occasions, with both P:T and BG1; when I removed the option, I was able to go back to my last save and resume play without any problem. I don't know if this helps, but...
