tom clancy is a fiction writer, he used to be a sale man until the book 'hunt for red october'(i think) hit the top ten best sellar list. he was so accurate in military and govt. aspects of his books that the military had to debrief him to find out how he got information in naval vessels. apparently he got all his info from the library. he also write non-fiction books on the navy.

@JB & Nael: OK, I see why they interviewed Tom Clancy - let's just hope newswatchers don't put too much weight into his words.

@all: I'll try to get some sleep now. I found an interview with the prime suspect, Osama bin Laden, done some years ago by and ABC reporter. I'll post the link in the "please read" thread. I thought it was interesting to get a glimpse of how this man thinks and reasons.

Tom Clancy is pretty good, but he writes such long books. He must spend tons of time on his books.
Ive read, the hunt for red october and seen teh movie, played and read rainbow 6, and read red storm rising.
