Farscape is an over-acted space drama or soap opera created for the Sci-Fi network. I strongly suspect that the producers of the show also hold significant stock in companies that make light-blue face paint and body make-up, since most female characters are covered in the stuff.....Originally posted by Vicsun:

That there; exactly the kinda diversion we coulda used.

Gwally: You've just listed the reasons why I like FarScape.Originally posted by Gwalchmai:

And then bring them back two episodes later....Originally posted by Mr Sleep:
Indeed i am a fan of Farscape. They do a lot of very interesting and inventive things with the storylines, they even kill off main characters
Typical Farscape episode:
Token Human says he loves Warrior Woman. Warrior Woman claims that being a Warrior Woman means that she can never develop long-term relationships. Token Human is frustrated and secretly wishes for any length of relationship. Blue Woman does something twitchy and wants to steal something. Floating Guy actually does steal something, causing an entire universe to come after them. Pilot says that the ship is ill, or hurt, or in love, or bored, or something. Everyone despairs. Other Blue Woman says something dramatic and out-of-context. Tongue Guy also says something dramatic, only louder. Everything is continued next week......
That there; exactly the kinda diversion we coulda used.

Exactly, LORD of Lurkers, therefore I am not bound by the same guidelines as the average run of the mill Lurker. I doubt I will ever become a posting lurker though, I think the board has it's quota there.posted by Fas

It is interesting to note that any show can be summarised like that if you somehow find some peverse stimulation in such action
I'd have to get drunk every night and talk about virility...And those Pink elephants I'd see.
I watch farscape too...it is a fairly good show if you like sci-fi/fantasy programs. The main problem in the uk is trying to actually see shows in a series together without it being cancelled/reschedulled for horse racing/snooker/bowls/curling/watching people waiting for skiing more snooker etc.
(Sorry about that)
It has a good storyline and a continuing-ish plot (it did last time I saw it anyway). Certainly worth watching if it is on.

Han Solo - "You said it Chewie!"
Azim - "No one controls my destiny, at least not one who attacks downwind and smelling of garlic"

@Mr. Sleep - Hi there, hows it going? Have a good Christmas?
Captain Scarlet is ok, but I am sure you can see the sparklers representing rocket engines! The acting is also a bit wooden (sorry). At least it is better the the original black and white flash gorden (thats was really bad!).

Christmas wasn't too bad, somewhat of an anticlimax though
The plot is also debatable, but for 30 minutes it ain't too bad BTW does anyone know the actor that VO'd Captain ScarletCaptain Scarlet is ok, but I am sure you can see the sparklers representing rocket engines! I've only seen about 10 episodes while staying in a motel. I would watch it much more often if my cable company would let me. I found the shows to be enjoyable, even though they are rather cliched. The Twitchy Blue Girl kinda grows on ya after a while, but the Floating Muppet is just dumb.Ah, yes, but Gwally had also posted:
Just for the record, I never said that I dis-liked Farscape. Its good mindless entertainment!

The Floating Muppet is really annoying, I am glad it is not just me who thinks this way(he is the one who usually gets them in trouble).
Going to go and get some food now, catch you guys later.
