Okay what is COMM?
Spamming is posting too many no-usually-very-important stuff and lots of it.
Lurking is posting a few posts per week or showing up now and then.
Where does COMM fit?
In the middle. So they are wannabe spammers that are in denial or lurkers who don't like to call themselves that.
