I think they could do a lot with the Planescape setting, just not with the Nameless One. His story has been said and done, now it's time to move onto another player in the City of Doors. I wouldn't mind seeing something about a Gith hero. That could be cool.
I have still not decided whether to buy PS:T or the Fallout series. From what I heard and read, both are pretty open-ended story. Can someone help me decide? I would like to get both, but I can only get one.

If you're into story, then get P:T. It's arguably got more story than any other two or three CRPGs, combined.
The Fallout games are great--they're just much more quest-driven. In fact, the first Fallout was timed, too, which annoyed a lot of players who wanted to explore everywhere.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
Whaa! Ps depressing?Who can resist the cute shirping of a little shiny lim-lim?I thought the atmosphere was dark too but it was also social and cozy in a lot of ways.I think it's the best game I've ever played and I would certainly play a sequel.
