Sequel?
Think they'll ever come out with a sequel to PS:T? I'd love it if they gave it some of the character interaction that BG2 has...

Afraid not. I've heard that P:T did "okay" in its sales, but that there was a feeling at Interplay that the same team could be put on a project that did far better. The result is Torn, which will be out (supposedly) before the end of the year.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
I think ps torment had an open end like I never saw b4 so theres enough room for a sequel.Like how the nameless one is going to stop the blood war and meets with both the demon's sides and talks to them.I think they can make something great from it.I loved ps torment more then any game I've ever played and I'm really disappointed they aren't going to continue with it
There is scope for a sequel i was just pointing out that it might not have as much impact as the main PS:T, i loved the bit where you talked to Tek'Elach and then met him later to wup his back side, class, also talking to the Gereleth ranks as one of the high points in gaming..
I'd have to get drunk every night and talk about virility...And those Pink elephants I'd see.

A sequel was definitely left as a possibility by the development team. They had great hopes of showing you how the Nameless One dealt with the wars as his pennance, encountered old enemies and friends (remember the pair of demons drinking in the bar, who knew him?), and acquiring new ones. But at this point, it won't happen. Interplay simply felt the gameplay and storyline didn't sell well enough to merit a sequel. There's always the option to do something later on, of course, but the development team from P:T is now working on Torn.

Honestly, the BG2 character interaction stinked to high heaven (or perhaps the music just made me moody).
Anyway, a sequel wouldn't be too likely, since we've already seen Sigil now, and NO is already dead.

All that can go wrong, will, unless it doesn't, but then, it might anyway.

@Reigns, I don't recall the NO getting his mortality stolen away being part of the plan that the P:T development teamed discussed when they were urging a followup to Interplay; perhaps you have information otherwise. If so, please post it.

Vhailor's helm? Why just his helm? Why don't we equip NO's head?
Or why don't we just equip Helm? HAaAAA-HAAH AAA!
Sorry, I'm just pissed off today...after being recommended to consult the Bible for seeking the meaning of life.
Gramps probably means well, but...
Actually, I'm not pissed off anymore.
Also, I had to consult the PS:T walkthrough...THAT makes me mad
Now I'm pissed off again.
Anyway, sequels tend to suck.
