Need help with warrend of thought

In the warrens of thought, when i talk to my jailers and get them to let me out, are they supposed to go hostile? And after kill them and try to go on, i get a never ending supply of cranium rats attacking me. And in the room where the walthrough says the many as one is, there is nothing to talk too.

Many-as-One isn't in the Warren of Thought, but his influence is. And yes, you can expect those rats to turn on you after you escape. Cranium rats are all over the place. Kill 'em as quickly as you can, to prevent their massing of spell power.

There should be a doorway that you enter in the Southmost corridor, that has Many-as-One in it. Should always be there. You don't really HAVE to deal with this weirdness anyway, but it can mean some experience points if handled discretely.

Warrens of Thought

Right after entering, there's a locked door. I tried basking it, but can't get it open. Someone please tell me how to progrees?
