Durlag's Tower Gong

Post by Lews Therin »

I have two pieces of a mallet for the gong. How do I put these together? I imagine I have strike the gong with the completed item to solve one of the riddles.

Thanks for any help.

It's been a while since I played BG1 the last time but,IIRC you should go to the forge room and use the Anvil there to repair the Mallet. Then go to the Gong Room and simply click on the Gong.

aVENGER is right. You have both pieces of the mallet so go to the forge and click on it. You may need to click on it more than once. Then use it on the gong. You have completed the West Warders quest!

Thanks for the help. I don't know how I missed the anvil. I remember pointing at the forges several times, but I guess I didn't think of the anvil.

OTOH, I don't know if it was such a good thing to solve the riddle. These guys are tough. :D
