How can you get to Jaheira's special abilities?

Post by akkar3 »

I just started ToB. Did the first chalenge and got a level up for Jaheira. She went up 2 levels and could pick 2 abilities. I picked Earthquake and summon elemental. After I hit accept, I went back to look for the spacial ability and could not. The special ability button has her shape change ability but nothing else. Is there a different way to access these abilities?

Please help.

Her special abilities are spells, go to the Druid/Cleric spell screen, and go to the Level 7 spell page. You have to memorise the spells before you can use them.

Thank you. I was expecting an ability that you could use once a day, not just another spell choice. I think that I will stick with the whirlwind....

Pretty much the pure clerics get screwed - they just get some good seventh level spells, but no extra slots to use them with. With Jaheira you can take the whirlwinds and she can fight better, so it's not so bad.
May you walk on warrrrm sannd....

Just remember that as soon as she hits level 15 (for her it requires 6 mega XP), she will instantly have 5 level 7 spells /day

That's more than what you will be able to use in a couple of hard battles...

There are some good quest level spells, but the druid-especific ones aren't much better than the cleric's, opposing to what happened in previous levels (ironskins, nature's, insects...)

Also, as i have previously posted, cleric's spells suck compared to mages's!!!!
Being an Evil Overlord seems to be a good career choice. It pays well, there are all sorts of perks and you can set your own hours. However every Evil Overlord I've read about in books or seen in movies invariably gets overthrown and destroyed in the end. I've noticed that no matter whether they are barbarian lords, deranged wizards, mad scientists or alien invaders, they always seem to make the same basic mistakes every single time. Therefore, if I ever happen to become an Evil Overlord, ...

I'll have to disagree. Greater Elemental Summoning just rocks, Prince of Earth especially.

@ Zaha - were you aware clerics get Greater Elemental summoning also? At least, Viconia has it in my game...

Yes it is a good spell and Chan and Sunnis (air and earth princes) are exceptionally helpful in tough battles.

@Aegnor- Clerics should have Elemental Summoning, which isn't as good as Greater ES. I think that Elemental Summoning has a chance at a prince, whereas GEE is guaranteed a prince
