Just Wondering what a real 'godlike' char should be. I personally like the Kensai/Mage good fighting abilities and great magical powers to cast or dispel those protection from god magics. A monk is not bad either my monk at lvl 40 my monk has an armor class of -19 and 102 magic resistance. Any other ideas??
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
Level 1 Cleric! Prays like nobody else before each battle.

A level 40 Paladin wielding a super-duper Holy Avenger with twice the power of Carsomyr; that is, a +10, +20 vs. Chaotic Evil enemies, and provides a 20' aura of 100% MR instead of the usual 50%, casts dispel/miscast magic with every hit.
IIRC, Paladine was a Level 40 Fighter/Mage and in platinum dragon form (Bahamut) could inflict 1 to 1000 hp/damage per/round.
Well, if you dont use cheats i would say someone who can use some kind of magic powers as well as fight well in combat, so a dualclassed fightertype to cleric or mage would be the answer.
the "least" godlike class would be thieves and bards in my oppinion, at least as a god of murder.
