Dammit why can't these creatures be straight forward and not so damn confusing - can anybody tell me that?
Frankly if you want to say something you say it directly and honestly.
Not with guarded compliments and weird games.
ARRRRGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

So who can answer that question?

it is not interesting.

Take my example, the girl has said i am cute twice or more.
She is shocked that i am only 20 the poor girl thought i was 23.
I was highly insulted - she thought i was mature!!!!

She had her photo taken with me - typical for all americans coming to our college.
However every single compliment is guarded, followed by a very confusing statement.
I have no clue what she is thinking.

I am not used to discuss this stuff on the net - esp about my private life.
But heck a majority of you are americans, maybe you can give me an insight into the american female psyche.

Agreed, this woman just confuses the hell out of me.

What's hard to understand? She likes you, and she's afraid you'll reject her, and she doesn't want to give you too much of a green light because you might think she's loose. Whoever said that human motives are single-threaded? Sheesh, you sound like my wife.

Ahhhhhhhhhh! I agree Women, can't live with them, can't kill them all and let God let them sort em out. Women are tricky, confusing, incomprehensible creatures which seem as if they were birthed from the unholy nether planes below, and at other times the sweetest beings from the land of light and goodness above. Why are women so confusing, well because the universe hates us, yes dislikes us and that is one more way of making a exasperating life more exasperating.

Of course I like to think it works the other way around for them too, maybe they think the same about us, Or maybe they know everything about us and we nothing about them because it makes us easier to control, that might just be my paranoia talking I don't know, So women out there do you deliberately keep us men ignorant so that we would be more pliant, is there some vast conspiracy, or maybe its just me being paranoid.

Ignorant of how women think as opposed to men, and why it is always so confusing.

See I totally agree with fable. You know what makes her act this way, nervousness. The nervousness that comes from soap operas, sit comes and many other Americans shows that are available for public viewing. Even though people seem to know that TV shows the more fun and less serious part of life, but subconsciously, I think everyone who watches these shows get effected. I've seen TV shows that has both sex all nervous and tries to act all crazy on their date and then everything cool when they end up in bed. (Of course, the ending up in bed part doesn't always happen) But my point is, you just gotta chill CM, play it smooth and let everything go there own way. Trying to figure her out might give you a coma...

This reminds me of the discussion we had in my intercultural communication class of whether or not "female" is a culture and whether or not communication between men and women is intercultural.

But, you see, the problem is not how women think, but how you men think.
