Halberd+4, Wave ...

Post by Laenor »

I'm currently using this weapon with Sarevok, and sometimes he'll do some Deadly Strike on an opponent (deals 200 dmg  )
I'm wondering if this is a special ability from the weapon, or if Sarevok as an innate Deadly Blow when using weapons.
Moreover, sometimes, still using Wave, enemies seem to be stunned by the weapon  ....

So... Hidden power from Wave, or Innate Aility from Sarevok ??
(He's got *** in Helberd specialisation.)

Innate from Sarevok. The wave's major ability is to slay fire elementals instantly (no matter how many HD, I think I even whacked a fire prince with one hit). Very nice to have in some situations.

The 200 damage thing is one of Sarevok's innate abilities (Deathbringer Assault) and can be done with any melee weapon... even unarmed i think. The stun is also one of Sarevok's innate abilities... one of those useful things you learn at the Iron Throne :D

On the subject, what are the exact stats of the deathbringer asault? what are the chances that it will occur?

IIRC, he has a 3% chance of doing it...

Also, shouldn't this be in the ToB forum.
