Deck of many things
Deck of many things
I read once that you could pickpocket it!
But in my game it says that the Cambion has no valid items!!!!
I really want the Deck, but killing that guy seems unfair...
Any clue???

Yes, you can play him both for the Scimitar and the Wish Scroll and stil fight him for the Deck of Many Things afterwardsOriginally posted by Stilgar
Could you play for the scemitar, win, and then attack him?
Would you then still get the deck?

Nobody has an "anti-patch" ?!?!
Sabre maybe?
What if I wanted the deck WITHOUT bloodshed???

I see your point, Stilgar, but I'm not Good, I'm SUPER-Good!
If you are supergood, you may go for a theft maybe, but you don't
want blood be spilled (when you can do otherwise)
You try to spare the life of your enemy, as life is the most
precious thing....
Often I just stun weak enemies and just pass by.
They'll know their lives have been spared by the child of Bhaal!
An evil being can be redeemed after all, just take Sarevok!
This comes with a price, though...
I'll never get those nice cards...
I also lose the Answerer all the times, in order to avoid sad
deaths!!!
Really, I have to play a simply good char, sometime, just
to try a few items...

Roleplaying extreme (good characters anyway)- don't kill anything (unless you really have to)
I once read somewhere that someone managed to play through DeusEx without killing anyone except one of the bosses. Wonder if it'd be possible in BG2? You'd need to stock up on hold person spells, keep a fully charged wand of paralysis etc.
