What are Strongholds? And can i come across them doing the regular game? (not really having to look for them). Thanx for your help

Strongholds are class-specific. You can check out the GameBanshee site (there's a link on top of this page), choose "Baldur's Gate II" from the drop-down list, click the "Quests" link and then click on any of the classes. The first quest for each class usually describes how to obtain your stronghold.

Have a look at the different races, classes and kits and then come back with info on what you thought cool. I'm sure we'll be able to help you with everything from stats and profs to party composition. Make sure to listen more carefully to me than to the rest, though!
