Try casting lower resistance on them, that useally works great.
I believe you have to have +3 weopons to hit them, but i don't know for sure!
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

Blunt weapons is the best, also +3 weapons should work.

Crom faeyr is the best weapon against them, you must have missed something, is usually do 20+ damage

The best weapon hands down against an Adamantium Golem is the Dwarven Thrower warhammer that you can purchase in Trademeet. In every place you ever fight Adamantims, theres always a door they can't get through. Just stand behind it and throw the Dwarven Thrower repetedly at the Golem and he'll fall in about a minute or so. While the Crom Freyr does much more damage per hit, the Thrower ensures that the Golems can never use their massive attacks against you.

Adamantite Golems, IIRC, have a high resistance to physical damage, so you will probably only do 3 damage a hit (like Kangaxx).

They require +3 weapons to hit, as well.

Azuredge and Rifthome are also remarkably effective against those big sillies. :D

Melf's Minute Meteors works nicely too, especially if you have a couple of mages using it. ^_^

If you have ToB the high level spell Energy Blades is even better.

i'm having trouble with the stupid golems too but i don't have the throwing axe or any of the spells mentioned. i adamantine golem i'm fighting does about 40+ dmg everytime. and he keeps on using death fog like every 10 sec since it doesn't last that long. korgan is the only one with a +3 weapon and if i use blunt weapons against this guy my guys will die cause he does so much dmg.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!   :)

Those sunfire bullets from the Temple of Amunauter in a sling of Seaking are fantastic. To bad there are not more of these. I used my 30 on the brute in firkrags dungeon.

i finally figured it out. everyone should have that talking sword that u got in the sewers. i gave it to minsc and he has long range when he attacks. so when that adamantine golem is stuck in the door way just have minsc use lutharcor (something like that) and attack him. the sword will be long enough for that adamantine golem never to touch u. be careful of that death fog though.

To the fellow who's getting 20+ damage with Crom Faeyr against Adamantite Golems...

In the 2 times my dwarf has gone all the way through SoA and ToB, wielding Crom Faeyr, I've probably killed upwards of 8 Adamantium golems, solo. I've never had him do more than 4-5 damage, usually 3. The trick is to have a nice AC, good enough magic resist that the fog doesn't bother you, and balls. The latter are something dwarves are good for.

all i'm saying is there's adamantine golems before you get the crom faeyr from wherever u get it. don't tell i'm not there yet. i haven't even beaten the game. so i'm saying that the talking sword equipped with minsc can do 2-4 dmg but also not take any dmg from the golem. when it's stuck the talking sword is long enough to hit the golem with out him hitting u back.

Flail of ages can be aquired early and is very effective on Ad golems, the slow really lessens the attacks and spells it casts.

But, if you thump the Addies with Crom Faeyr, or the Flail of the Ages, won't it disrupt the casting. For some reason, my Crom Faeyr does it's typical golem dealie.. and killed ot outright, one shot. Anyone else?

Personally my solo fighter mage uses the Rod of Smiting against Iron and Adamantium Golems and Crom Faeyr against all the rest. make pretty short work of 'em that way.

Also use the Rod of Smiting against the brain golems in the underdark.
Just remember, everyone is entitled to my opinion

cast str on em. any tank with decent ac will be un hittable and it also seems to drastically slow down that stupid cloud they cast.
