can't get to the shadow lord as I must have dropped one of the parts of the gem (i think I need 3 segments). Can't find where I dropped it. Is there a cheat I can use to get it put in inventory? Also, I'm in chapter five at the moment. Can I complete some of the quests from chapter two that I missed first time round?
The most user friendly way of editing your games (including putting things in your inventory) is to use Shadow Keeper. The program is top notch quality and very intuitive.
You can definitely do the outstanding quests you have from Chapt 2 now.
