best male npc body

Post by dragon wench »

ok, since all is fair in love and war, I had to start this parallel thread.
So which male npc do you figure looks best without his armour? I'm going to have to look carefully at my party before putting in my two cents, but at the moment I'm inclined towards Valygar.

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

Valygar? Go watch any Wesley Snipes movie and you'll have your imagination fulfilled.

Actually, I prefer Denzel Washinton. I particularly liked "The Bone Collector"

Hmmmm, I think it would have to be between Valygar and Anomen... As a matter of personal preference, I would probably go for Anomen I think.
Although this has led me to wonder whether Edwin might be quite fit under his robes... But with only 10 strength, a bit too much of a wimp I guess.

I thought about Anomen too, but if you consider the whole package Valygar has a naturally high dexterity. ;)

I don’t believe either Wesley Snipes or Denzel Washington is a good likeness of Vaylgar. Keith Hamilton Cobb (who plays Tyr on Andromeda) is the actor I’ve seen who most resembles the ranger. If they ever make a Shadows of Amn movie Cobb should be the one to play Valygar. But you don’t have to take my word for it. ;) See for yourselves:

Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

I suspect that in general women feel much the same way about Jan as men do about Mazzy. As far as personality goes, I think that Jan is a blast, but...

Wow Kayless, you may be right. The resemblance is striking. Better call his agent and see if he's willing to take part in "BG2 The Movie." Onscreen 2003!

Hey, it might happen if the LOTR movie generates the same kind of waves as "Titanic" did. There's bound to be demand for such films of the genre.

You can't compare jan and mazzy, he is a gnome and she is a halfling... halflings look good just that they are small, gnomes do not look good. Mazzy rules.

Personally I think that Mazzy is really great; IMO she's one of the best characters in the game. But in an other thread numerous males expressed a certain reservation about her physical allure, so I was trying to go by the male perspective.

Thanks Kayless for the visuals. You're right, with the exception of the eyes (Valygar's are more almond shaped)Keith Hamilton Cobb bears a striking ressemblance to Valygar.
A movie.....hmmm. I wonder what that would be like. With a good director and producer it could be really awesome. On the other hand...

A properly executed Baldur’s Gate movie would rock. Unfortunately we all know how often Hollywood gets it right. :( Since Keith Hamilton Cobb is a pretty accurate Valygar stand-in I figured I’d post a pic for all you ladies out there ;) :D (after all, this is a topic about which male NPC has the best body).

I did consider that too... but then Anomen has higher charisma.
And besides, this is about who has the best *body*, nothing else...
So maybe we should start a thread on which male NPC would be the best in bed?
:D
Or maybe that's just getting too freaky!

You're right Georgi!
must remove mind from gutter....
As far as starting a poll on... um technique, yes that would likley be getting a little too bizarre. I already find the concept of romancing a computer generated character strange enough. A Sociology PhD in the making here ;)

I agree, it just doesn't bear thinking about...

And yeah, how sad is it that your most recent boyfriend is computer generated?
