Whats with the divinity league? They accept All the classes except mages and the oh so powerful Theives. Do they really need all those classes to beat us? Are we that strong? Well of course we are. We are the Shadow Guild. Nothing is safe from us. Hide your scrolls well and watch your back when you pray to your dead gods for we are always in the shadows thirsting for the blood of the holyer than thou.

...Men AFGTHTGTTA?
Next mage/thief-cleric war ?!

I see that there is one sinner that doesn't understand that Gods are more powrful than your pathetic magics( or rather backstab).

Mage/clerics or other multiclasses of cleric/druid/ranger may join League (without thieves multiclasses).

yep i think we were to powerfull.
i think u missed some great discussions between our Shaod Guild/Shadow Mages and the League.
it was fun to see how desprate they where, the needed all the classes to even stand a chance to some Thieves and Mages.
They thought they were stronger but we had the best answers and so they couldn't beat us.
We don't talk about our 'war' any more and only the Shadow Mages keeped posting replies. But now i see that all the Giuild are back.
Maybe u could read a couple of post on the Shadow MAges topic to become a bit wiser in the situation between us. :D :D

I was just busy. However if I find the time between studies and NPCs making I will read it of course.

There will be something for you : Coran is one of my favourite thieves and I'm going to ressurect him in BG2.

I have one problem - his level - I would be grateful for any suggestions.

@TheDude: Why did the Shadow guild ally with the shadow mages? Just wondering.

There were no Shadow Mages prior to the merger. Just the Council of Mages and the Shadow Guild. In the interest of cooperation, Edwin and the Dude decided to join forces and stop bickering. Believe it or not, the Shadow Guild was once quite merciless when it came to taunting mages (and I was the chief tormentor :o ). But today we all live in harmony, or at least don’t bicker quite as much. ;)

You were all fools to fall for the wiley seductions of mages. You have lost both your humanity and your souls. The Shadow Guild should have remained whole instead of betraying humanity to merge with the unnatural.

That old black magic
Has me in its spell
That old black magic
That you weave so well
Icy fingers up and down my spine
The same old witchcraft
When your eyes meet mine

:D :D :D
I suppose we could all go with Minsc instead.

yep Kayless is right.
Edwin and I where Bickering on his topic about how was the strongest Thieves or Mages, it lead to no where. :D
So after some discussions we formed teh Shadow Mages together.
We had to stab our Mage bashing though :( we where really good in that :D
( btw Kayless why didn't we contineu with Paladin and cleric bashing????)
But when u want power sacrafices must be made.

Multiplayer BG2 is a little clunky. Only one person is the main character and if he dies everyone else is screwed. Not to mention the fact that the other players have to sit quietly while he chooses dialogue options, etc. Icewind Dale is much more suited for multiple play but that too is a little lackluster. When Neverwinter Nights comes out there will a cool opportunity to play together and/or create modules to share. But until then it's talk, talk, talk. ;) :D

There's sections for Baldur's Gate, Shadows of Amn, Icewind Dale and Heart of Winter on Game Spy. So yes you can play online ;)

League of Divinty. Doesn't that sound like a name of some wrestling tag team or something? :D I mean what kind of name is that? I cannot wait until NWN so we can backup all the trash we talk.

Speaking of the League, has anyone heard from the Pope lately? He seems to have vanished.

Mage bashing! :D
- Sorcery and Shadow together as one, the arcane and the dark united. Through our knowledge and skill none can stand against us. We are as one, infallible and invincible. -
