I don't know if this will work but i found it while doing a short look on google:

This is to access the special hidden version of the film mentioned on the box. I do not know if it'll work on any other regions DVD's as I do not know if it is hidden on them or not.

Access the special features section of the DVD. Wait for the 'Memento Mori' picture to move and the pic of Leonard with a pic in his mouth to take up most of the screen (best wait for the words 'Memento Mori' to be barely visible at the edge of the screen). Press enter/play. A screen will come up telling you you have found the hidden version of the film. Click on 'Play'.

And then watch the film in chronological order including the end credits rolling backwards at the beginning and the opening segment running forwards.

@Morlock looks like Sleepy got there first

The thing about Ali is because there is so much documentary footage, it is kind of superfluous. I haven't seen When We Were Kings, but by all accounts it is a great documentary movie. (But I don't think Ali is as bad as you reckon

)

BLOW: all together good, but the ending is a little too much..

Here are a couple of James Bonds I caught this week:

Diamonds are forever: the last Connery Bond, it seems awfuly like a comedy sequel. It has some great lines, mostly funny ones, but what saves the movie from being a total comedy sequel- is the great scene between Blofeld and Bond the first time they meet.
That scene is really getting back to the basics of the series, and it actualy is clever! I was surprised the first time I saw it that someone thought of the two Charles Gray's and their cats- maybe the best scene in all the movies.

I thought it was hillarious that they had Grey act as Bloefeld, when just two movies before he plays Henderson, the guy in Hong Kong who meets with Bond, trying to help him to catch Bloefeld. The only time I know of that a man played a character and his enemy.

The movie has some great lines:

Ernst Stavro Blofeld: "The satellite is now over... Kansas. Well, if we blow up Kansas the world may not hear about it for years."

Driver: "The stiff, ehm, the deceased back there... Your brother, Mr. Franks?"
James Bond (as Peter Franks): "Yes, it was."
Passenger: "I got a brother."
James Bond (as Peter Franks): "Small world."

[Plenty O'Toole is thrown out of the window by some goons perhaps from the 10th floor, and lands in the middle of the hotel's swimming pool]
James Bond: [looking down] "Exceptionally fine shot."
Goon: "I didn't know there was a pool down there."

Tiffany Case: I'll finish dressing.
James Bond (as Peter Franks): "Oh please don't, not on my account."

And my favorite:
James Bond: "That's a nice little nothing you're almost wearing."

Tommorrow Never Dies: This James Bond is robably Brosnan's best. The movie has the best villain since Max Zorin (Christopher Walken) in Elliot Carver. Jonathan Pryce plays him perfectly- sly, egotistic, charismatic- too bad that because this is a Bond film- he has to die because of a stupid mistake.

Here are a few points I noticed:

1. Why does the count down always leave Bond just enough time to destroy the plans?

I mean, doesn't Carver realize that if the count down was for 1 minute, he would win the day quicker?
You can, of course, attribute this stupidity to the Bond legacy of dumb bad Guys. It reminded me of Fables thread 'An Evil Overlord’s to do list'.
Another real stupidity was the fact that Bond was getting beat up in the room right near the control room, where there was only man. So conviniently, one Bond beat the guys, he could just go into the next room and cut off all power.

2. I liked the classic Bond wit of the destroyed car flying right into Avis.

3. I thoght they made a mistake by having Bond kill the doctor the way they did. It made Bond much moe a cold blooded murderer- he usualy only kills people in a gun battle, or when attacked. It's not like Bond to give a one liner and shoot a man in the head at close range.

4. Noticed how he twice used the lighter trick introduced by Roger Moore in 'Live and Let Die'- that you act as if you have a lighter, and then you punch the guy out.

5. Did anyone notie that the captain of the ship at the end was the same guy who played the drunk English soldier in 'Braveheart' who tried to rape MelGibson's wife, and he also played the Nazi general in 'Indiana Jones and the last crusade'?

6. I really liked Carver making fun of Wai Lin's karate by jumping around.
He was also great in the scene where he is instructing his agencies around the world what to do about the next days news:
Elliot Carver:"Mr. Jones, are we ready to release our new software?"
Jones: "Yes, sir. As requested, it's full of bugs, which means people will be forced to upgrade for years."
Elliot Carver: "Outstanding!"

Elliot Carver:"Mr. Wallace, call the President. Tell him if he doesn't sign the bill lowering the cable rates, we will release the video of him with the cheerleader in the Chicago motel room."
Mr. Wallace: "Inspired, sir."
Elliot Carver: "And after he signs the bill, release the tape anyway."
Mr. Wallace: "Consider him slimed."

It has a few more good lines:
James Bond: "You were pretty good with that hook."
Wai-Lin: Thanks. "It comes from growing up in a rough neighborhood. You were pretty good with the bike."
James Bond: "Thank you. It comes from not growing up at all."

James Bond: "It won't look like a suicide if you shoot me from over there."
Dr. Kaufman: "I am a professor of forensic medicine. Believe me, Mr. Bond, I could shoot you from Stuttgart und still create ze proper effect."

Q: "Your new BMW. Will you be needing collision coverage?"
James Bond: "Yes."
Q: "Property damage?"
James Bond: "Definitely."
Q: "Personal injury?"
James Bond: "I hope not, but accidents do happen."

All in all- I think it is a rather good Bond, getting back to a lot of the usual formula, it's much more intelligent than the other two Brosnan's

Ummm, how many Bond films did it take you to notice that?

The easy answer is... if it didn't, the movie would end rather abruptly

It reminded me of Fables thread 'An Evil Overlord’s to do list'.

I think a lot of that is based on Bond

See, like I always say... Brosnan has brought back that hard edge to Bond. And nobody ever believes me. But apparently that is Bond more like Ian Fleming portrayed him. It's like at the end of TWINE when he shoots whatsername...

First off, Blade 2.

I have to say this exceeded my expectations, not artistically, sonically or even in its use of comedy, what exceeded my expectations was the amount of blood on show. If you want to see and eviscereal film look no further than the Second outing for Blade.

The plot (tenuous - Ed

) revolves around some super vampires that are hunting normal vampires. That is it really, Blade teams up with (shock horror) love interest and her motely crue(crew

) It pretty much follows the standard course even going to far as to put Snipes on a metal table and bleed him (again).

This movie is total nonesense all except the fight scenes. Which impressed even the cynic that i am. You see every bone break every vein burst in wonderful panoramic glory.

Acting, well that is okay, about what is expected really, it is a shame to have Kris Kristofferson and Wesley Snipes in this type of nonsense and not something of worth. Anyone who has watched more than the Passenger 57 and alike will know Snipes is a damn good actor. Luke Goss (swoon

) is also surprisingly decent.

Let me explain one thing about the following movies, me and a friend polished off a bottle of Tequila (me 2/3) during the watching of these two films so my recollection of the latter (AP2) will be somewhat messed up

One Night at McCools

I was pleasently surprised by this film, they have this impressive flahback effect that seemlessly rolls into a standard time.

As for the plot, it is basically about hormonal men all becoming obsessed with a woman. It has some very black humour in it and had me laughing out loud on several occasions, not least at Michael Douglas' hair do

Overall by the point of the end i was fading a little from reality, but i recall enjoying the narrative and the acting from everyone is good....even Paul Riser(sp?)

American Pie 2

Where do i start....Exactly the same as the first one except for the fact that there is a little less gross out...which i am happy with

To be honest the Tequila was kicking in at this point, what i do remember i laughed at and most of it was crap. Avoid it if at all possible

and next on the mystery tour of Tequila and late night viewing.....Return of the Overfiend.....

i don't think that Tequila and Return of the Overfiend mix particularly well. Come to think of it Return of the Overfiend doesn't mix with anything particularly well and made more sense after my drinks

I never bother to see the movie due the cast anyway. C'mon Drew, Diaz & Liu as Angels ? The old gens Angels are far more georgeous than those - the casting already so poorly done

And my favorite:

WOW!.. i finally found that film, "memento" and that is SO cool!..

And i have actually just returned home from the cinema, And i would like to warn people..... i have just seen the lousyest movie EVER!.. what was it called!? jeepers creepers ..... or something like that!..Man that is one of the worst movies! Don't waste your money.. i would tell you bout the plot, but there is none!

The only movie that is as bad as, that one is.. a movie called Hemoglobin (with rutger hauer)...

I WANT TO SE BLADE II (but it haven't come up in the cinema yet over here!

.. and im looking very much forward to the ring II. (must see the first one first though)

that can be ok (the action part) if you know what you are getting your self into.... and you have to be in that mood for it.. i for one have a huge hangover, so im not that critic

and I agree, it was not what I was expecting, but I don't know your taste so would say see it anyway

For me, I am looking to see Queen of The Damned, though they have missed out The Vampire Lestat in the movie sequels!

I already have my reservations for AoTC and Spiderman- one night after the other!

It's fun if you like this kinda thing though. I think if you liked the first one, you'll like the sequel.

Plus, it has Danny John Jules in it

And Luke Goss

And Blade kicks butt

Please enlighten me, I wasn't aware that he had ever been in any decent movies... I actually read an interview with him, and even he seemed surprised that any movie of his had done well enough to get a sequel...

@Ysh I am in two minds about Queen of the Damned, since I thought Interview was rubbish...

Please tell me that when you saw Scary Movie 2, you hadn't seen the first one... anyone who goes to the sequel after that movie deserves all they get...

I think I may go and see AotC on Thursday... just checked, and it's nowhere near booked up yet.

Sadly I have to agree. The only way someone can even understand the movie is to have played all of the FF games and realize Square , never, every continues a story line. There will be the same names, sometime the same stuff, but the story line will always be different. And which story should they have followed?? I had high hopes for this film, and I enjoyed it, but it could never be a hit. Too many stories and not enough time to cover it all.

One night Stand was excellent

Mo' Better Blues. He is quite underatted, okay he isn't Sidney Poitier but he has more merit than most people assume

@Ysh, Lestat is fantastic, any ideas why they didn't make a movie of it?

I forgot about New Jack City, if you analyse his movies you will see he is mostly guided by whomever is directing him, Jungle Fever and Mo' Better Blues are both directed by Spike Lee, they are arguably his best roles and Spike Lee is a good character director....
