Make sure you don't get level drained. You can use protection from evil for this, right? It's been a long time for me :( . Other then that, you'd have to wait for a better responce cause I dunno :D
It wasn't that hard for me.
Guinness is good for you.
Gives you strength.

he´s hard, rob-hin is right, try not to get drained,
and use a lot of speed (greater whirlwind works great against this guy).

Or maybe a good sequencer........
experiment, you'll get him!
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

Also note that you'll receive 20 points of Fire damage - unavoidable - and 15 points of Electrical damage - avoidable depending on dialogue choice, which depends on your stat - during the talk.

I did the following *immedietly* after the dialog ended:

Main Char: Sunray via Daystar
Viconia: Casts Sunray
Sarevok: Sunray via Helm of Brilliance (excellent item btw)
Imoen: Some area effect spell
Haer' Dalis: Ench. Bard Song, then attack what`s left
Jan: Run, then fire with Firetooth

After the initial blast, only the Master Wraith should be "alive" and he`s easy to kill after his protection spells are removed.
Ozzing off

no more like a dialogue bug

Cheers 4 the help but if I could actually fight the guy it would help. I never get that far, the wraith while in dialogue mode knocks off first 70%, then the rest, never revealing his true identity. any further help muchos appreciated

Highlight for dialogue choice:
During the first dialogue, it doesn't matter what you say, since you'll get hit by 20 points of Fire damage no matter what - equiping Fire resistant items on your main character will help to reduce the damage.

More dialogues follow: if your Wisdom is higher than 16 you'll be able to avoid more damage - choose the No! Gorion would never say this! Never!! option as soon as you can; else you'll get hit by a further 15 points of Electrical damage.

More dialogues, nothing special here, just choose any option you want, there's no difference between any of them.

I think when I fought him, I just followed the dialouge as if I didn't believe that it was Gorion and eventually, the talking stopped and the sword swinging and fire-throwing begins!

Hope this helps.

Cast mirror image, either through the spell, or the short sword.I did this with a mage, and it prevented the dialogue damage entirely, then follow up /w sunray and dragons breath/abi dalzims, etc.Try the death spell too, not sure if it will work tho.

Look guys (except Sabre, 'cos he's lovely), he's not asking for help with the fight (though he probably will do afterwards). He's saying that he keeps being killed during the dialogue.

Basically you need to heal up so you've got more than 35 hp. If that's your hp limit, go make a character with a higher constitution!
