Spell Trigger Scroll where are you?!

Post by genxooseven »

Alright, I've been through the game maybe 4 times and never aquirred this scroll. Anyone know where one can found. BTW I don't wanna CLUA it in although I know the code, and anyone know where Ogre Mages spawn randomnly when you rest (if they do at all)? I found some level 7-9 scrolls of them before when I used to CLUA monsters back then. Any help would really be appreciated.

Its a random treasure- you can SOMETIMES find it on all sorts of unlikely owners like skeleton warriors or shauagin, exactly like that other fantastic spell, Mords sword...

K thx. I got ToB, but still having too much fun in SoA to move on to ToB. I probably keep resting and killing them Skeleton Warriors in Domain of the Dragon till it drops.

You might have to kill alot of skels to find it though :)

Loads of other monsters sometimes drop useful spells; goblins, kuo toa, the muggers in Athkatla etc. I usually just play through checking every corpse (monkey work) and keep my fingers crossed.

a few of those scrolls can b bought in SoA. i am almost certain the drow merchant in the underdark has it, and probably ribald on secret stash, or the mage between the bookshelves in the mart. might also check the gnomes in underdark, however they r spelled, where u get the freedom scrolls.

Hmm, sadly it can't be bought anywhere in SoA. Maybe you're thinking of spell sequencer?

I'll happily be proved wrong though...I have (rather sadly) devoted quite a bit of my time looking for it ever since the first time I found it and got to use it (I mean, its fantastic, like a mini time stop which of course you can use in a real time stop, you can cast 3 lower resistances at once...I could go on and on :) )

Yea, as far as I know their random, and only Ogre Mages have the highest possibility of dropping them as far as I can tell Lvs.7-9. Also, I'm not thinking of Spell Sequencer Lv.2 found that a long time ago and I don't really use it much. I'll keep searching around, maybe I'll try the Kuo-Toan Dungeon and the Sahuagin City alittle longer.

Already tried. Went to the Promenade Area and started killing everyone outdoors to force the Cowled Wizards into appearing. Found some other high level scrolls, but not one Spell Trigger. Also tried pickpocketing in the government district. No luck either.
Do the people around town ever come back once you kill em? Just wondering. Promenade's a ghost town, lol.

Did the cowled wizards show because of a low rep? You can also make them appear up to 5 times if you haven't bought a magic liscense yet...

littiz is right, they are a good source of random loot but that's the trouble...its random. You're just as or maybe more likely to turn up some jewelry... I think spell trigger must be the most scarce spell in SoA (BAH!!)

Yes, I have SOLA mod installed. I bought the license a long time ago. Oh yea my reputations at 1 and the only reason they show up is to put me to death for slaughtering innocents.
