Your favorite class

Go on: boast! Here's your chance! Either tell us about a game-generated class you've used and enjoyed, and why, or one you've created yourself. :)
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

So far I'm still in my first round with the game. I went through the selection process (played 15 questions). I wound up with a dunmer witchhunter. Unfortunately, I chose a birthsign of shadow (Ugh!); will not make that mistake again.

It's still fun. He's around level 12 and I find alchemy to be cool. They have such a wide assortments of meats, flowers, root, fungus, ores, etc... Now that my alchemy is the 50's, I have a pretty good idea of what most reagents are capable of. It was a bonus to find a large supply of ebony to fund my cash effort. I'm trying to play my character even keel which entails no stealing and no murder for the quick easy loot. I am guilty of soul trapping my own ghost but so what? I'm simply using my skills for financial advancement and stay within the confines of Vvardenfell law.

The biggest character flaw, as if 'the shadow' birthsign isn't enough, it is the witchhunters heavy reliance on magic and having a starting magicka of 50. I've really worked on hard on intelligence skills from level to level which is now over 80. I think this character will be able to hold his own but then again, I think success is possible with almost creation (ala BG2 - pardon the comparison).

I'm trying to play the class as loyal as possible and spend a lot of time rooting the tombs of the undead. By the time I'd done with this guy, I should have a better handle on the game although I'm not sure what route to pursue. I look to play the role of noble chivalric knight at some point as well as an nasty heartless khajit, the kind to kill the slaves for the petty cost in sales of the very bracers containing them.
Crush enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of the women.

Well, I'm very much a "restarter anonymous" member... :) So, after trying a variety of different combos, I've settled *crosses fingers* on a self made class that'll hopefully last the long run.

I made myself an Argonian "Grave Robber"

Specialization: Stealth
Stats:
Intelligence
Agility
Primary skills:
Stealth, Short blade, marksman, conjuration, security
Minor skills:
Light armor, speechcraft (not that fitting but I like that skill :) ), alchemy, acrobatics, athletics
Birthsign:
The Ritual

I was spending so much time in caves, tombs, and mines, and having a blast at it, that I decided to make a career out of it :)

I'm enjoying playing him as an unsrupulous thief that will steep to new lows to get his loot. Hey, you have to be pretty depraved to rob from the dead ;)

First time i got to Breton Wichhunter born in Ritual by questionary. Had a look araund, learned the rules and started over with the same. Challenging and not too strightforward combination with degree of freedom high enough in terms of coosing ways of developmen, IMHO. Sort of rogue priest. focused on magic :D
BTW, i guess it's a bit early to choose favorites for certain - there wouldn't be too many players finished the game not mentioning ones having done it with several characters.

Spellsword

Well, can only say this guy has been mostly kick ass up to now.
Long Blade is 93, Level 14, tons of spells, pretty good completion
if not 100%. This character can melee with the best of them
Glass Ar. 60; Blocking 50 etc. Kia'd 4 VAmpires in a row, hardly any damage. Not invulnerable for sure, but this is a great class
for balance power and magic. Haven't played the rest, sure that
typical role playing attributes when combined are all deadly in their own way. but I like to both melee and have plenty magic,
and I answered the questions truthfully. ehheheheh

Assassin

I initially started playing an Imperial Assassin for the challenge (I mean, c'mon...an Imperial ???) so I could actually kinda roleplay the main quest.

I actually play him like a very tough thief, but I'll tell you the best things about the rogue characters...Security, Sneak and Backstab :)

Man, I love this game :D ...

i too restart a lot (and still yet to finish the game). this

Race: Nord (for resistances and shield)
Class: Trail Guide (sounded funny)
Sign: The Ritual (ability to heal [good] and turn undead can be handy)
Major Stats:
Strength
Intelligence

Major:
Armorer (no trips to the blacksmith)
Enchant (make own items and recharge)
Mysicism (trap souls for enchanting)
Alchemy (make own potions)
Security (mainly for traps and locks in dungeons)

Minor:
Block (less damage taken is less potions used)
Medium Armor (balance between weight and armor class)
Axe (sounded outdoorsy [is that a word?])
Athletics (faster is better)
Acrobatics (mountain climbing :) )

:D

I'm really happy with my self-made class. Put every different skill into the minors and majors, because don't forget.. only training a major or minor skill can give you advance toward next level, and bonus points to the dominating stat! My hero is primarily a mage, but I don't want him to have 100 int./100 willpower and all other stats in the 20ies , so I chose at least one skill from each other attribute as well (ie. heavy armor-> endurance, athletics-> speed, acrobatics-> strength etc).
Even if I don't need some of them at all, it's a nice stat-boost possibility (>1), and I can always train up heavy armor at some fighter guild if I need to have a big endurance boost...
