visited fields of kammu, last on my pilgrimmage, asks for a
"portion of mucK"????.
where do I get a portion of muck, when I pray
at shrine without it, nothing happens.
ok, I'm stupid, haven't seen muck yet anywheres and Level 20.

Muck's an alchemical ingredient. It can be found in muck pools in the wild, but much more easily by finding an alchemist's shop that will sell some to you.

If I remember right, there's a muck pool somewhere near the shrine... but I'm afraid I don't recall enough to be specific.

It's an alchemy ingredient.

You can usually find it by searching barrels, etc. (I think you may be able to buy it from an alchemist...I dunno) or you can harvest it from the scattered islets around (muck is found in the tube-like 'coral' structures near the water). There is an island near the Fields of Kummu (sp?) where you can harvest some muck...

Also some in Gnisis at foot of hill there in town. looks like giant mushrooms.
