I made a plug in that lets you enchant a restore magicka effect - it's linked in this thread

and cure poison potions are the best for poisoning - get some rat meat and some kwama cuttle, your poison problem stops right in its' tracks.
May you walk on warrrrm sannd....

Night-eye is rather cool to have in potion form. It's unbelievable strong:

Night Eye 350 points for 1100 seconds. :D

(brewed with 100 int, 100 alchemy, and 2 grandmaster+ 2 master brewing tools)

Nice, but have you tried using it? On my monitor, anything above night eye 60 or so is -way- too washed out looking. The light spell is even worse for me.

In any case, though, I just put night eye ~ 50 constant effect on an item. It's actually a very cheap enchantment and doesn't use many enchant points.

Btw, where do you get the secret master items?

It seems that in Morrowind not a single of the secretmaster's alchemy tools exist. According to the construction set, there are secretmaster's probe, lockpicks, even armorer's hammers .. but no alchemy tools. But I didn't work with the editor more than half an hour, so I may have missed something. Maybe they are given to you as reward of a quest, and MW creates them out of thin air when the time has come.

The ministry of health warns: Alchemy can make your Player Character alchemy - addicted!
He warns especially from exhaustive use of restore magicka potions, thus he officially published a list of signs, to recognize when one is addicted:

If you
*) ... have no spells in your spellbook which cost under 100 mana.
*) ... think, "Why should I spend 50 mana to kill that rat with a firebolt, when I can spend 120 mana to kill it with a delayed blast fireball?"
*) ... use specifically designed, so-called "Amplify" Spells before you cast a damage spell. For example a wizard casts "fortify willpower 100pts" just to raise the probability of spell-success, of his Armaggedon spell, out of the negative numbers!!
*) ... constantly find yourself in front of a hostile creature, but your mana is empty, because you couldn't resist casting "chamaeleon 100% for 5 seconds", just in case the cliff racer would be dragon in disguise!!!
*) ... drink a potion of restore magicka 50 points for 150 seconds, but your mana-reserve is still depleting!!!

These are the top 5 signs that your player character is addicted to alchemy ! :)
