questions about hand to hand...just wondering...

oh oh, user is wondering about something...

duck...cheese alert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so you get this killer monk type, with mondo hand to hand ability...if you make a ring with cast when strikes, can you wear ring and have a spell go off when it strikes???

or gloves or gauntlets????

i mean the advantage is obvious....ok, not so obvious, but think abotu this...what has the best enchant points in the game????

oh crap, you are thinking, the user is really on to something....the only weapon with mondo charges is ebony staff, 90 enchant points, but extravagent gloves have around 40, i think, but for sure exquisite rings have 120!!!!!

so you can have a ring that deals 100 points of damage health for 4 seconds, YIKES...if you press "0" when facing a really tough monster...

if you can create a cast when strikes and if it works like i think it will....

hmm, right now, started a new game, and have yet to get azuras star and summon saints spell, so someone else try out...eh????

Some say its a soulgem, but in the editor its a throwingstar kind of weapon.

btw: If you know how to edit stuff, you can make yourself some kind of mystic brass knuckles for your monk.
Hand to hand skill, not much damage but with some nice amount of enchantment points.
I cant make em, coz I only made housing and npcs this far, never touched weapon editing, but Im sure someone in this forum can do this.
I mean there are wolverine claws and dual wield katanas out there so brass knuckles should be an easy task

jod, azuras star is the most cheesiest, most unbalancing item and best artifact in game...period....

its a re-usable soul gem....

you get it, and it comes empty, then you get the summon golden saints spell in tel brannora, and you make a low level item, shield seems best, to summon a saint for whatever second,s and you trap it in star, make a killer item, like a constant effect chamelon rings and amulet and clothes, and you repeattttttttttttttttttttt.....forever, you can use the star over and over again, and make yourself invincible....

now the biggest draw back to playing enchanter types in game is the lack of grand soul gems for the killer and very nasty constant effect spells, but with star you are basically set....

then the limits become how many exquisite rings and amulets you can aquire, and how much cash you got...

so where are woulverine claws mod???

does it come enchanted or not????

another killer advantage to enchanting hand to hand would be touch damage is very very cheap.....why not just enchant weapons???i do, of course, but its nice to have on your daedric weapons spells that do low charge drains, then when you meet a really nasty bugger press "0" and use up your very high powered and high charge uber killer attack item to kill with....

my system laggs badly in item select screen....

This Azuras star will start to kick when beth soft brings a patch that prevents gem changing after making a constant enchantment.

Sounds like a must have for you

A weapon that looks killer and has a lot of options in what you can enchant on it.

I found 2 so far, a glassgreen one and an iceclaw, both at the balmora armorer, but the autor says theres one more in the game, havent found it yet, so if you find it lemme know.

sorry buddy, but they do, and you know it..

i just downloaded the patch and installed it, and rushed over to balmora to get them...

the silver ones look ok, but the glass ones look hideous!!! come on, you know it does.....

ok, so i looked in the editor to see what the string name for the dragon ones are, and tehy are in dagoth urs inner tower....

in a special chest...

but they look just like the ugly glass ones!!!!!

i so hate glass stuff when ever i kill a free range golden saint i never ever get the glass sword, even though its better than the weapon i am carrying...

say, have you tried to enchatn them???i mean the claws look so bad i am wondering if the guy who designed the mod even included enchanted shimmer textures....

well, thats likely a game engine feature...but glass!!!

To be honest, I never used them much, I didnt like the attack animations.
But on the character they looked cool, ok the glass one is a little too bright, a steel or black one would have been better.
Currently I try to get a tutorial from that dude who made the ninja armor mod about how to turn stuff darker.
Once I have it, I make a black set of glassarmor, coz the armor ignoring the colour IS cool, I love those spikes on the pauldrons

Btw do you have the dualwield mod ?
It comes with 2 deadric katanas, black with red shimmering runes on the blade.
A must have !

been thinking about it, but only if the off handed sword has a really high enchatn bonus, like around 255 or so, since i found out it ONLY parries....

thus it should fully replace the shield in both function and enchant...

i want it enchantable to boost my attack rating, or heal me like my regular shield does....

but serioulsy, i prefer monster claymores and two ahnded swords... my shield heals me and restores my magic, and i use it with two handed sword or battle zxe or war hammer...yes you can equipp shield, equipp two handed and still get the beneficial enchantment on the shield...

i really prefer to whack them hard with two handed weapons..
