Main quest

Post by Rob-hin »

I finally bought Morrowind!
It runs kinda ok on my getting old pc, so I'm happy. :)

Here's the thing. Everywhere I hear about the "write your own story" gameplay. Meaning that you aren't obligated to follow the lead the makes gave you.
So, does this mean I can do whatever I want, and somehow the story will continue? I don't feel like working for Caius Cossades. But If I don't, will the story still progress?

Thanxs!
Guinness is good for you.

You can pretty much ignore the main story and do anything you'd like. If you want to finish the game, however, you have to either finally do Cauis Cosades quests, or take one of two "back path" routes (one of which is much tougher, the other of which is much easier but requires you to have fulfilled a number of conditions before it's ever mentioned) to the same goal.
