kidnappers of Tirdir?

after i kill renti(maybe this was the name)the kidnappers of Tirdir,i went upster and freed the lady but when i open the cabinrt i found a ransom note, it says about going to the copper coronet to give the reansom money after noghtfall but i cant find the man.doea anyone know where can i find him?

You can only get the ransom if you didn't free the lady, since she is freed, there is no need for her family to paid the ransom. If you didn't free her, you'll lose 2 rep points, and all you get from the person is a Silver Pantaloons, which seems worthless. Unless someone have actually found a use for them.

Go to Baldurdash (Kevin Dorner's site) and there is an article on the silver pantaloons (and the Gold ones from BG1 too).

they should allow you to put the pantalloons on and they also should make an armour of pantalloons.

He is outside the entrance to Copper Coronet, only at night time.

Ok, to restate my answer, there are two possible things that you can do:
1. (Good) Free the lady, if you do this Welther will not appear.
2. (Evil) Tell her that you will free her after getting the ransom. At night time, go to the Slums, you'll find Welther in front of the second entrance to the Copper Coronet, the door with the beggar, near the bottom of the map.

As far as I know, you only get it from Welther, if you really want it you can create it. The code is:
