Ummmmmm i am thinking of bying Neverwinternights, but i keep wondering does it acualy have a plot (storyline).

Yes, certainly. All CRPGs do, even though it's largely an excuse in any game to explore, fight a lot, build levels, and grab goodies. In fact, there's a pretty decent overall plot, with quite a few sub-plots, that land you many different quests.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
