Damsel in distress problem

I have rescued a woman from a Daedric Shrine near Ald Velothi, she wants to be reunited with her husband, she says he is somewhere east of the shrine but I can't find him anywhere. I hope he wasn't one of the people I killed earlier when I was attacked at the nearby yurt! Anyone know where he is?

Ah. I know exactly who you are talking about. He is a redguard just standing on a roadside not too far due south from Khuul. Try walking down the main road from Khuul and you should reach the husband on the roadside, near some trees, if my memory serves correctly.

I led her out of the shrine and let her wait until i'd manage to find her husband (i had some experience with escorting including the death of escorted already). When i found her husband i got the thanks from him and returned to woman. He was grateful, too, but without any choice of "follow me"

So, in fact i never really delivered her to her husband, however the quest was counted as done anyway. Let's hope they'd finally find each other nonetheless
