another Lady in Distress

Just SSW of Khuul (IIRC) is a Lady in Distress who says she lost a ring in the nearby pool and asks me to retrieve it.

I search the pool but can find nothing. When I get out, there is now a semi-transparent figure standing near the Lady, who only gives me the red "good-bye" when I try to speak with it.

Anyone know what's going on with these two?

the ring is there but it's kinda hard to see coz it's underneath a plant....and you should find it ..in regards to the guy who is transparent...well find the ring and you would know.....

I think this quest is one of the top ten most annoying quests within the game. The ring is in there. If you cant see try night-eye, that helps a little bit.

i really liked that quest. it was hard to find the ring though.

Well, I'll go back a *3rd* time and look again. I must have spent a good 5-7 mins. swimming around that little pool the first time, even went to the nearby inlet under the Dwarf bridge, thinking maybe she'd dropped it back there.

I agree with Tybaltus, this quest is really annoying. I seem to remember the ring is under one of the first plants as you enter the pool. Without giving anything away, the result of completing this quest will ease the frustration somewhat
