IMO single-sex schools make it harder for the students to relate to the other gender, which is not at all a good thing.

Yeah, just got back from my graduation ceremony (which my parents insisted on going to)... I hate these formal things, sitting in a stuffy hall listening to some old geezer in a silly costume making an inspirational speech...And having photos taken in academic dress, etc. *sigh* Well, at least I didn't trip and fall over on my way up the steps to collect my certificate...
