Help! Jaheira's quest!

Post by lmf12345 »

In the Jaheira's quest (with the Harpers), I've killed Derwin and I've waited for 80-90 days but Terminsel doesn't come out to tell Jaheira that the real Harpers are impressed with her actions and not to worry. Oh my God! I'm romancing Jaheira and I only miss this quest. Please kindly help me!

What was Jaheira's last dialogue with you?
What is her LOVETALK value? What is the value of the global TerminselSpawn?

Oh... I see.....if nothing helps then
Have you killed Dermin before "Dawning our day" dialogue ?

BTW, what chapter are you in? Terminsel won't appear in chapters 4, 5, and 7.

LOVETALK = 46
TerminselSpawn = 3

Actually, I don't notice whether I did "dawning our day" dialogue before killing Dermin since the walkthrough doesn't tell me to do so (a little bit regret not reading here first). How can I check? My LOVETALK value might be too low but is it OK to finish the curse quest before this quest ended? By the way, I heard I can't wait Terminsel by simply sleeping 80-90days, is it right? ...Jaheira is really tough but lovely :-)

Did you have one of the following dialogues ?
Lovetalk numbers were the same in all my romances but in your case it could mean that dialogue from lt=46 is 45 or 47 in my game.
So look at it :

lovetalk ,dialogue 1st line, conditions
45. "Blast, my armor could....", 0.5 h
47. "Your old injuries feeling alright ?", 0.5 h

I'm in Chapter 6 and this is my last quest before I'm gonna kill Bodhi in the Chapter. I'm afraid if I play this quest after killing Bodhi, the romance story might become too complex or even fail to advance.

So if you are in 6th chapter then just try to force the next dialogue :

CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("jaheiraromance","global",1)

If it doesn't work then try to change lovetalk value to 59.

I've changed the lovetalk value to 59. What should I do next?

Imfi2345,

I'm sorry to say, but your romance sounds like it's already hosed. The LOVETALK value for the "Ah, the dawning of our day dialog.." is 56, which is supposed to happen before the battle with Dermin (his 3rd appearance). You said that you had already fought Dermin, but your LOVETALK=46. I suggest the following:
  • Move to a woodland area, like the Druid Grove. Some of her dialogs only occur here.
  • Set her LOVETALK=59
  • Try to force the next dialog by typing SetGlobal("JaheiraRomance","GLOBAL",1)
  • Wait 30 seconds with the game UNPAUSED - if nothing happens, then rest the party. Do NOT pause the game.
You should get the next dialog, "What, what is it you want?" (LOVETALK=60)

For Terminsel to spawn:
  • LOVETALK=70
  • TerminselSpawn=4
  • The global timer TerminselAppear expires
