Not just hair bands. I am trying to look up stuff on bands I like 1 song for but dont know anything about-like Blancmange, Hair Cut 100, Boomtown Rats, The Nails, among others. I also learn about bands I like a lot of songs from from a couple sites-More notably 1-hit wonders.
EDIT-Add Baltimora and Landscape to that list.
“Caw, Caw!” The call of the wild calls you. Are you listening? Do you dare challenge their power? Do you dare invade? Nature will always triumph in the end.

Tyb, well if you start delving down one hit wonder roads, i may not remember that. The boomtown rats is one of the many successful projects of bob geldof. They've got a lot of good stuff but were really out of their element for the 80's. their music belonged in a different decade.
On a smoov segue of sorts, have you heard of the band david and david from the 80's. they had a song from the 80's entitled 'welcome to the boomtown'. Pretty depressing song lyrics but well done nonetheless.
gotta go night night. fading fast.
Crush enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of the women.

All of the above are good or great songs, IMO.

Indeed. What a great player he was. If not for those blasted injuries he could have been even bigger. They say they wont retire his number in Denver. They said "No, we retire numbers for players like Elway". That ticked me off Elway was certainly good, but Davis was practically the same elite player just in a different position.

@AC, so, you managed to capture my animal magnetism after all?
@Ty, I disagree.. Davis was great, but John Elway WAS Denver. Same with Montana in SF and Kelly in Buffalo. His impact went deeper than the game, and the man became almost synonymous with Denver.
Terrell was the greatest running back Den ever had IMO, but John Elway was the greatest player, from the standpoint of on the feild play and what he meant to the city, ever in Denver. The man carried them to multiple Super Bowls pretty much by himself.

Dont get me wrong here. I think Elway is one of the best players to ever step on the field, but I think Davis, when 100% was also one of the best players to step onto the field. Yes, Elway was indeed MR. Denver, but dont you think that Davis' number should be enshrined in the Denver stadium? I think he deserves such.

In two weeks I think. My excitement level is getting high. SD named Brees the starter at QB btw. I can't wait to see him play, I wanted Wash to pick him bad last year, but the passed on him.
The next couple weeks of pre-season should be more worth watching.

While I am a HUGE fan of Flutie, Brees is a great choice for starter. Hes got a young arm and he can move in the pocket aswell. I knew he could do things when I saw him at Purdue. He was quietly picked in the draft, which surprised me, but he did a great job replacing Flutie in a couple games last year and has looked good this preseason.
I got to get ready for the opener-get my picks going, pay attention to specific players/ defensive and offensive matchups. Not to mention the chips and dip.

Oh, I will be going through matchups at every position week in and week out. Fantasy football does that to you. Speaking of which, I got my draft tomm night at 8:30. I hope I do as well as last year. I came in a close third overall, but Randy Moss killed me. I drafted him, and he did squat If only I hadn't wasted that pick.
