The Argyle sever is not up and running yet.
It is still under construction.
There has been a test sever, and one of the DM's is running a small module called Haven wich is up every once in a while so people can test the somewhat difference between the "Hard Core Rules(HCR)" and NwN rules (there are some ;) )

Haven will be located, afaik, in the PW(Story) room, and requiers a password.
Try msg. Simeron or Uniden for password.

Any idea when argyle will be up?

Can you give an idea what it will be like and how to play along?

Would it be something for someone who can only play an hour or so once in a while or is it more for people who have plenty of time to play?

Any type of player with any time allowment should be able to enjoy Argyle. For more info, go to the website and read on the forums. That's the best way to find out about Argyle.

Thanks Joe.

I didn't see if it would be made for someone who can play only once in a while though.

IMHO their forum wasn't that helpful. Searching through it pretty much pre-supposed you had quite an extensive knowledge already of what was going on. I tried PM many different people there and all wouldn't take the time of day for me. It was very frustrating.

Argyle is rather full with people that Real Life has by the throat. Some may post rather prolifically at the moment, but now school starts, that'll be over for the most part.

Well, what is it you guys wish to know?

For the most part, Argyle is still unknown to us, since it's still being created. What will it be like to play in it? I don't know. I'll prolly find out the same time as you guys.

Well, i've been lurking around at ruminations and SOS boards but i can't seem to find any info as of when Argyle will go live as well. Does anyone knows when or we don't have a date yet. :)

@Nippy i couldn't help but notice your status at SOS boards Argyle NWN buldiers ;) . So do you have any inside information of you cannot say at the moment. :)

Did you visit the lore page, or any of the others on the Argyle site? The Lore page should have plenty of information, I really should pop back in once in a while myself. :o

I might be able to give some information, what are you interested in? Remember that it will have to be really basic and that, I don't want to spoil surprises. :D ;)

I only need a possible date(even month would do) of when Argyle will go online. :) ... for now. Or is it just part of the surprises. :D

I'll have to shoot Nippy if he gives away too much, so don't push too hard. We still need him. Image

Wow, this is definitely an answer, considering that Argyle might already be complete or nearly complete. :D . I don't suspect you would confirm that, do you? ;) . Don't answer that i don't want Xyx to shoot you or something. :D :)

My personal guesstimate is that it'll take some time yet before the whole thing is ready to go. Mod building is slow going. Ascension took over two months, and Return to Windspear has been "nearing completion" for over half a year now. Same thing with Argyle. It's getting better all the time, but I cannot say it'll be good enough soon.

I have been playing for a few days now on the test server and I have to say - this is going to be great. Perma death adds such a great angle to everything - it forces you to work with other people and to think out every move you make.

The folks I have been playing with are fun as well - everyone seems to stay in character and I am busy making alliances.

I was on the server late last night (EST) and there were only a few players on - if you haven't tried it yet - come join us - I haven't had so much fun years :D
