Enough requirements to buy IWDii?

Post by willewessla »

Hi folks!

I have a pretty new Laptop but the graphic card sucks. It´s an 8 MB 2D card. Do you think i can play the game with no major problems with the following characteristics?

Operating System Windows 95 OSR2 v4.0.1212
CPU Model/Name Intel Pentium IIIB Processor with MMX(TM) Technology
CPU Speed 598MHz
# of Processors 1
Total Physical Memory 128MB
CD-ROM Access Mode 32-Bit Disk Access

Just don´t laugh at me bacause i still got W95 ;)

Thanx in advance

The game will probably run on your machine with only a little bit of choppiness in the videos and during some of the combats with a lot of participants.

If you can, you should probably get more RAM. I don't say this because IWD2 won't run, but just because everyone needs to have more RAM. Plus, it's pretty cheap right now. More RAM is the number one way to get more performance out of your computer, especially at a low cost.

If you do start to have problems, dial back the video and sound settings.
Jesus saves! And takes half damage!

If brute force doesn't work, you're not using enough.

I own a 400 Mhz K6-2 with 256mb of RAM onboard and a Marvel G200 with 8mb of RAM.

I must say that IWD2 works really fine, much better than BG2... I've adjusted the settings selecting 450mhz machine.

And my OS is Win2k...

So I believe you won't have any problem running IWD2 on your machine.
