I am douing a imperial quest where i must find proof of a plan aginst the emperor. What do they mean by proof.

Well if you go through the trap door in the building he directed to you (The trapdoor is straight ahead I beleive from where you enter inside), theres some guy inside that talks about the plans to overthrow the imperial legion. He has the plans written down. If you steal the plans and kill the guards inside that attack you, you have your proof and the quest is done.

I tried to kill him he was strong and i thoght i did something wrong. So i must kill him or are the plans in the lev 5 locked chest on the alter thing.
